Are you keen to try a totally new experience? How about taking up an adventure challenge in aid of your local Hospice?
Ever longed to undertake a life changing experience such as trekking to China or Everest base camp, cycling from London to Paris or jumping out of an aeroplane?
If the answer is yes, you can, and you could help raise much needed funds for the Hospice at the same time.
Willen Hospice has teamed up with Skyline (parachute jumps) and Discover Adventure (Treks etc) who offer a range of life-changing challenges for you to experience and raise funds at the same time.
Challenges include; a cycle ride from London to Paris, a trek along Hadrian’s Wall and a four day Sailing Challenge from Poole to the Channel Islands. There is also a team parachute jump at regular intervals throughout the year– a great day out with lots of support.

Alongside UK events there are many runs, marathons and triathlons to take part in all around the world.

Barbara Harris, who was 80 when she took part in last year’s team parachute jump day, said of her experience:
“I have always been a supporter of the hospice and, as I can’t walk too far or get on a bike I said I would jump out of a plane. Someone said I should sign up for this without a thought. It was a wonderful day.”
There are many reasons why people take up a challenge for Willen Hospice. Some have had a personal connection with the Hospice - perhaps a loved one has received care - others just want to help a local good cause. Whatever the reason, your efforts can help to ensure that the Hospice can continue to provide quality care for those in need of its services.
