Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 ft. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph!

Staff Nurse Sally in freefall
"20 people jumped out of an aeroplane at 10,000 feet, including Hospice Supporters, Hospice Nurses and the Citizen’s very own Emma Caswell...... this very brave fundraising effort looks to have raised over £13,000 for the Hospice."

| Tom Hough, from Bradville, did a parachute jump in aid of Willen Hospice and raised an amazing £1,207.50. Tom did the jump at Hinton airfield on his 16th birthday – the youngest age you can jump. Tom has had family members and friends cared for by the Hospice and also benefited from the help of their Macmillan Family Support Worker. |
