It never ceases to amaze us at the stamina and endurance of our supporters. See some of the events that individuals participate in whilst raising funds for Willen Hospice.
The National Three Peaks Challenge is well known amongst the more adventurous. This challenge involves climbing the three highest mountains in the UK within 24 hours. First stop is Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands, followed by Scafell Pike in the Lake District, finishing with Snowdon in Wales.
A team from Mirus IT Solutions are taking on this challenge for Willen Hospice. They are: Adam Kirby, Paul Tomlinson, Jon Rees, Carl Fitch, Sukhie Shergill

On the 12th September 2009 Chris Irvine along this 3 others took part in a very physically demanding challenge - the 'First Monster Race'. Along with his 3 team mates, he took on the world famous Loch Ness in a 120k relay race of foot and bike.

Stuart Mason, a personal trainer, working for David Lloyd in Milton Keynes took part in theToughguy, a multi terrain obstacle course.
He said:
"Toughguy is a 16 mile test of physical and mental endurance designed to take you beyond your limits.
Being a local lad, born and bred in Milton Keynes, and taking part in previous charity events for Willen Hospice, Willen is very close to my heart and I know whatever sponsorship I raise is going to a worthy cause."

SHEILA FINISHED THE RACE IN 10 HOURS!!!! She is now thawing out! 
Not sure if this should be classed as a trek or a marathon or endurance but certainly a challenge! Hospice Trustee, Sheila Kemble prepared rigorously for this life-changing experience.
A trek up to Everest Base Camp at 17,000 ft, a run back down to around 12,000ft where the race finished, within 12 hours of the start time.
To date Sheila has raised over £12,000 pounds for Willen Hospice
