Provision of Services
Last year over 400 terminally ill people were cared for by Hospice Teams and support was also given to families - all free of charge. Expert care is provided 365 days a year. 
Essential Refurbishments
A generous legacy allowed us to:
- convert from oil to gas for heating and hot water
- install new lighting
- tile bathrooms
- install a new nurse call and telephone system
- develop new storage areas
- put in seventy six meters of hand rails completely redecorate – including new curtains and carpets
The wish of one person who left money to the Hospice was that we refurbish the Hospice gardens. In carrying out this wish we were able to ensure that the new areas were also fully accessible to people with disabilities making them available for all to enjoy.
