Your wishes, expressed through a Will, can make a real difference to us in our efforts to ensure that Willen Hospice will remain a key provider of specialist care in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area.
It was thanks to some substantial legacies that in 2002 we were able to undertake a major refurbishment of the Hospice which included, in just ten weeks:
All of this made the Hospice a lot fresher and welcoming to patients and their families.

(Our attractive Garden Room and Garden Areas were also created as a result of legacies.)
In 2004 it was the wish of one person who left money to the Hospice that we refurbish the Hospice gardens. This also enabled us to ensure our garden areas were fully accessible to people with disabilities.
It is surprising how many people die without making a Will. This is a great shame because the process of making a Will is actually quite straightforward, whereas administering the estate of a person who has died intestate (without a Will) can be a long, drawn out and laborious affair. This can be particularly hard on friends and relatives who are, perhaps, struggling to cope after losing a loved one.
If you would like to remember Willen Hospice in your Will and enable us to provide our care for the future, please read our notes on:
