Walk for Willen A gentle, 3 mile sponsored walk around Willen Lake. Open to all - mums, dads, grandparents, pram pushers, children and well-behaved dogs. Refreshments provided after the exertion and many people bring a picnic (weather permitting) and chill out to the sounds of Fraser and Susanne. A truly lovely day out for the whole family. Willen Hospice Obstacle Pancake Race |
This was held on Shrove Tuesday in Middleton Hall, centre:mk. Twelve teams raced around an obstacle course provided by the Milton Keynes Play Association. Lots of different techniques employed to avoid losing the pancake! Great fun and eventual winner was the centre:mk team.

Moghul Palace Evening

The Moghul Palace organised a Charity Evening in aid of the Hospice. Customers were treated to fine Indian cuisine followed by belly dancing and music!
Summer Garden Party Another family day out in June, with a variety of stalls, raffles, tombolas and our special Summer Draw. We have had Punch and Judy, Thomas The Tank Engine and even ferrets. The Fenny Stompers have also been known to play the odd tune or two. Definitely something for everyone.In 2008 this event raised £4000. View Web Album (opens new window) |

Alternative Ascot |
The turnout is always fantastic and the ladies look amazing – who needs the royal enclosure when there is Willen Hospice! This year, the weather remained dry though a little windy– In 2008 we have raised £7500.
Lights of Love 2007 On Sunday 2nd December 2007 Willen Hospice held its annual Lights of Love event. This, the last and most important event in the Hospice calendar raised over £18,000, helping the Hospice to continue its work. For the second year running two smaller trees were decorated with stars which children had made in memory of someone special. This was organised by the Family Support Service.
