Three hundred runners turned out in the warm sunshine on Sunday for the Milton Keynes "Big Fun Run", sponsored by Tesco and fifty nine of them were running for Willen Hospice.

The "Big Fun Run" is a 5k run held at various venues nationally and organized by the Edinburgh Marathon team. Willen Hospice was an official charity for the Milton Keynes Event .
The runners were brilliant and Willen Hospice even had a 4th place finisher. The first 10 finishers were automatically awarded a place in the Edinburgh Marathon (for next May). All runners received a medal and a goody bag.

"We were really pleased with the number of people who turned out for Willen this year - last year we only had about 2 runners! So far £355.00 has been raised in sponsorship with JustGiving, but money is still coming in and we will have to wait for a final total. We want to make next year's Big Fun Run even bigger and better and get at least 500 runners, with at least 100 running for the Hospice!"
