our new Buckingham Store
Willen Hospice has been given a free temporary lease on a vacant unit on Meadow Walk in Buckingham. It is using the space for a furniture store to build upon the success of the permanent store in Bletchley which opened in May 2007.
This venture will help to recycle second hand furniture and bring in much needed income. It is also in addition to the Hospice’s eight shops that sell clothes and bric-a-brac, including the one on Bridge Street in Buckingham.
The opening times for the store are: 9:30am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, depending on volunteer support.
John Acres, Shops and Trading Manager, commented:
“We are very grateful to the owner of the shop premises who has donated its use to us free of charge and hope this will be for at least a few months. We will be selling a diverse range of brand new and good quality second hand furniture and leisure goods and all proceeds will be going directly to patient care at the Hospice.”
If you have good quality second hand furniture that you would like to donate or you would like to volunteer some time to help at the shop please call 01280 823388 for more information.
Anyone who has visited our pioneer Bletchley Furniture Shop will be well aware of the superb quality of items on sale. We hope to replicate our success in the new Buckingham store, so, please hurry along and have a browse.
