Willen Hospice recently welcomed over two hundred local business men and women to its annual Business Reception held in the showroom at Mercedes-Benz, Kingston.
All the attendees have an important relationship with the Hospice, either through fundraising or gift-in-kind support. The evening provides a showcase and a thank you for the great work and benefit their support provides.

Warren Brearley, Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz of Milton Keynes opened the proceedings by welcoming everyone to the event. Lincoln Bedeau, Managing Director of Ask MK Productions, a long-term Hospice supporter, then gave a personal and heart felt presentation of the work carried out at the Hospice. After his presentation, the Stantonbury Soul Band, eight hugely talented musicians, gave a brilliant performance to a surprised and delighted audience.
Paul Hinson, Chief Executive of Willen Hospice delivered the important business messages from the Hospice and a very big thank you for all the continuing support saying:
“This year has continued to be a financially challenging one for the Hospice. We are extremely grateful for the support of the local business community, without which, we would not have survived for the last twenty eight years. It is a pleasure to see so many of our business friends together in such fantastic surroundings and with first class entertainment, professionally delivered by our younger supporters from Stantonbury.”
