The Crinklies Patchwork Group are a great bunch of ladies who meet once a week and spend 18 months sewing and making things, particularly patchwork items, to sell and raise money for Willen Hospice. All items are beautifully finished and include:
- patchwork blankets, including children's cot blankets
- table centre pieces
- cushion and nightdress covers
- aprons
- christmas decorations and much more...
They run pre-Christmas Bazaars at the Community Desk in the centre:MK and also Hungerford House and Bletchley Women's Institute Meetings.
The sale of goods in 2006 raised a grand total of £1625.50 for Willen Hospice. In addition, over £100 worth of Willen Hospice Lottery and Winter Draw Tickets were sold at the Community Desk Bazaar.
The Crinklies would like to thank everyone for their support, from those who sewed the items for sale, to those who purchased goods on the day.
