Day Hospice Open Day
Willen Hospice welcomed supporters to an open day on Friday 20th June to show off the newly extended
and refurbished Day Hospice.
Visitors dropped in between10am and 3pm and staff and volunteers were on hand to talk to people about how the money raised had been spent and the services that the Day Hospice offers to patients and their families.
Shirley Chamberlain, Day Hospice Manager, commented:
“The additional space and facilities in the new day hospice has made a huge difference to the comfort of our patients and the activities and therapies we can offer them. We are extremely grateful to everyone who donated to our Day Hospice Appeal to enable us to complete this project.”
