MK Midnight Moo 2009 was a major event for Willen Hospice and Milton Keynes and raised over £100,000. One thousand women walked 10 miles around Milton Keynes at night, starting and finishing at Midsummer Place Shopping Centre. To celebrate the success, a photo wall, "The Field of Fame" has been created at the Fringe MK Project Space in Midsummer Place Shopping Centre.
Participants in the 2009 MK Midnight Moo have been sending in their photos and, with the help of Fringe MK and MK Arts for Health - who devise, manage and deliver public art projects, artists’ residencies and arts in health programmes across Milton Keynes - the "Field of Fame Photo Wall" has been devised.
Children from local schools (Long Meadow School, Middleton Primary School, Great Linford Combined School) have contributed some very snazzy artwork to make the field a very bright and colourful place for Florence and her Moo friends!
The Field of Fame was unveiled by Martin Hindson, Centre Manager of Midsummer Place Shopping Centre, on Monday 2nd November and will be in place until 15th November.
Martin said:
