Anthony Day, a mechanic at Bleakhall Motors in Milton Keynes, was encouraged by co-workers to get a hair cut.
When one of them said they would pay him to do it, he decided to get sponsored, have his head completely shaved and use the occasion to raise money for Willen Hospice.
The delicate operation was carried out on Christmas Eve by the landlord of Anthony’s local pub - the Barley Mow in Paulerspury.
The extreme haircut raised £720 for the Hospice and Sue Wallis, hospice Community Fundraising Manager was delighted to receive the cheque from Anthony.
