Sadly, Ken King passed away in the early hours of Sunday 12th November at Milton Keynes General Hospital - he had been very unwell for some months.
Christopher Eyes, Hospice Chief Executive said:
“Ken was a great supporter of the Hospice and prior to him becoming a Trustee he had been the Chairman of the Hospice League of Friends. For many years Ken was Deputy Chairman of the Hospice - a role he relinquished in July this year. He was a charismatic character who had a passion for the work of the Hospice and will be fondly remembered.”
In his professional life Ken was a Director of local construction firm Terrapin and on the board of the Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce. Ken received his MBE for Services to the Community, acknowledging his extensive charity work.
