Parcelforce Worldwide donate a Royal Oak to Willen
Mark Lancaster, TD, MP and Dale Haddon, Director of Parcelforce Worldwide planted an oak tree sapling in the lower paddock at the Hospice on Friday 27th October.
The sapling was presented to Parcelforce Worldwide by HRH Prince Charles in July of this year for winning the Business in the Community’s Healthy Workplaces Award for Excellence. This was in recognition of the success of Parcelforce Worldwide in creating a safer workplace and a healthier workforce.
The decision to donate the oak sapling to Willen Hospice was timed to co-ordinate with Royal Mail Group’s partnership with Help the Hospices, Royal Mail Group's chosen charity.
Willen Hospice will be one of those to benefit from the partnership, which aims to raise £1million.
