The annual Willen Hospice Summer Garden Party took place in the grounds of the Hospice on Saturday 28th June. It was a fantastic event which raised in excess of £4,000. A great afternoon was had by all, enjoying a variety of activities including: ferret racing, hook a duck, a bouncy castle, tombolas, craft stalls, archery and vintage tractors.
Entertainment was provided by local band Bustagut and also the MKT Cheerleaders.

The lucky programme prize for the day has still not been claimed and was number 178.
The event was also the finish line for The George, Little Brickhill’s Hi Tec Bike Ride. The 16 seater bike set off from the pub in the morning to complete the 10 mile journey to the Hospice to raise more funds.
The winning tickets for the Hospice’s Summer Draw were also drawn. The winner of the £2,000 top prize was from Mursley. The draw raised over £17,000 for hospice funds.
