Willen Hospice’s annual pancake race in Middleton Hall, thecentre:mk was once again a great and fun event. All races involved an assault course provided by the Milton Keynes Play Association and commentary was provided by Heart 103.3.
The first races were between local mascots that included;
Teams from Broughton Fire Station, Willen Hospice, Milton Keynes Play Association, Heart 103.3 and Mead Open Farm then went on to complete the assault course, whilst flipping pancakes and wearing aprons, with the final being taken by Milton Keynes Play Association - who received a bottle of Champagne, medals and certificates.
Julia Rogerson, Events and Promotions Manager for Willen Hospice, commented:
“All those who took part and supported the event were brilliant and it was a great atmosphere. We hope to have raised a few hundred pounds which will help to reduce our current shortfall in funding.”
