Milton’s Keynes' alternative talent contest, Willen Hospice’s Y Factor, had its grand final on Tuesday 24th October at Talk of the Town Live in Central Milton Keynes.
It was a fantastic evening of entertainment expertly compered by ‘Big George’ Webley.
The twelve acts that made it to the final were: Fire Type, Natalie Walton, Steven Wallis, Emily Haig, Karl Digby, Junction 14, No Translation, Stuart Carter, Louise King, Dan O’Shea, Leah Richardson and Muckle.

The judging panel was made up of Sammy Jones (Citizen), Phil English (Sound Engineer) and Howard (Talk of the Town Live). All finalists performed one song for the judges.
At the end of the performances and, after much deliberation, the winner was announced as Dan O’Shea, a singer/songwriter who won a recording session and a weekend in London. Runners up were Stuart Carter and Louise King.
