Willen Hospice held its first ever parachute jump day on Saturday 12th May at Hinton airfield near Brackley.

Twenty six brave souls jumped from13,000 feet over the Oxfordshire countryside to raise essential funds for the Hospice. We are pleased to report that the weather did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of our team.
The jumpers included a Hospice trustee and a team of four from the Ramada Encore. Between them all they are hoping to raise over £4,000.
Julia Rogerson, Events and Promotions Manager for the Hospice commented:
“It was a fantastic day and I would like to say a big thank you to all those who took part and got their friends and families to sponsor them to raise funds to help us to continue to provide our essential care.”
The Willen Hospice fundraising team are arranging a whole series of challenges in 2007 and 2008. If you, or your co- workers are feeling adventurous and would like to help the Hospice please contact us
