Willen Hospice staff, volunteers and supporters will all be jumping out of an aeroplane at 10,000 feet in the skies over Oxfordshire on Saturday 9th May. The team is made up of 15 people including the Hospice Chief Executive, Paul Hinson, Hospice Nurses and Support Staff, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for MK South, Iain Stewart and an 80 year old Hospice Warehouse Volunteer!

Paul Hinson, Chief Executive, commented:
“I am delighted at the response from staff, volunteers and supporters to our appeal to get a team together to do this. We are all determined to raise as much money as possible to help towards the Hospice’s struggling financial position.”
In February Willen Hospice announced that it was predicting a half a million pound shortfall in funding in the current financial year.
Extra donations and offers of support have been received, however the predicted shortfall still looks likely.
It is hoped that through fundraising ideas such as the Team Parachute Jump, the MK Midnight Moo on July18 and the support of the local community, next year will be a more positive one financially.
