Willen Hospice started its own lottery in 1996 to support its work, by providing a guaranteed weekly income. It has proved to be an important source of finance for the Hospice and now attracts over 5,000 entrants each week.
It costs over £9,000 per day to keep the Hospice running and your participation in the Lottery will provide regular income to help meet these costs.
Willen Hospice Lottery is run by 4 members of paid staff and more than 70 volunteers. The volunteers are an essential part of the lottery cycle and range from outlets selling tickets, collectors delivering and collecting tickets and office helpers. It is safe to say that the lottery could not function smoothly, if at all, without them.
For just £1 per week you can help support the vital work of Willen Hospice and have a chance of winning £1,000.
Each weekly chance costs only £1.
