Campaign 30 launches
On 10th February ‘Campaign 30' was officially launched.
Peter Winkelman very kindly hosted the event at Doubletree Hotel, Stadium:mk, which was attended by many influential figures from the Milton Keynes community.
There were talks from Mr Winkelman himself, Chief Executive of Willen Hospice, Paul Hinson, Director of Nursing, Leanne Bircham and Campaign Manager, Robin Langrishe. Lincoln Bedeau, Managing Director of askMK also spoke about his personal experience of the Hospice and Chris Henrick and Chee-Wai Cheung of Keens Shay Keens spoke about why they have selected Willen as their Charity of the Year.
Campaign Chairman, Philip Smith closed by emphasising the importance of the Campaign to the people of Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. The message is clear- the community needs Willen Hospice. The community is growing rapidly and if Willen Hospice is to remain ‘always there to care’ for the future, action needs to be taken now. We need to raise £2 million now to meet the increased demand on our services in the coming years.
To find out how you can support ‘Campaign 30’ please call Robin Langrishe on 01908 308700 or email campaign30@willen-hospice.org.uk.
