Golfers support Willen Hospice
The annual AWR Pickersgill Ltd golf day took place at Aspley Guise and Woburn Sands Golf Club on the 10th June.
This year the teams of golfers came together to raise a fantastic total of £14,034.38; through entry fees, sponsorship, a raffle and an auction.
Over the last few year the event has raised many thousands of pounds to support the work of the Hospice.
Events and Community Fundraiser, Elaine Johnston was delighted to attended the event. “Every year Alroy and his family work so hard to put on a great fun day of golf, Alroy’s longstanding support has not only raised a wonderful financial amount to support our work but has gone a long way to help raise our profile and build relationships in the golfing community. Our thanks must go to everyone who attended for all their support of our work.”
