Help Maureen reach her target
Special Black Tie Event for Willen Hospice. Please help Maureen reach her fundraising target.
On Friday October 28, Maureen Cook is organising a special black tie fundraising event for Willen Hospice. Maureen has been raising money for the Hospice since her mum passed away 7 years ago and has also worked as a volunteer.
Maureen says:
"I am currently organising a Charity Event for Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes. This will take the form of a Black Tie Dinner Dance (disco) at The Holiday Inn, Milton Keynes East Jct. 14 and will be held on Friday 28th October 2011.
Tickets are now on sale at £55pp so if you would like to come along and have a fun night please let me know on the telephone number below.
I am hoping that all money raised from ticket sales for this event can be donated to Willen Hospice, which I am sure you will agree is a very worthwhile cause. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to offer an auction prize? If this is not possible, perhaps you would consider a raffle prize, this would be very much appreciated.
My aim is to raise £5,000 on the night which would take the total I have raised since 2005, when my dear mother passed away, to £50,000. I am really hoping with your help I can reach my goal of raising the magic figure of £50,000."
