Hospice Services Highlighted
Willen Hospice staff and volunteers were given the opportunity to share information about hospice services with professionals and the general public at an open forum held at Milton Keynes Hospital Foundation Trust in February.
Two areas were allocated to the Hospice - the foyer of the main entrance and the lecture theatre at the Post Graduate Centre. General information about the Hospice was available throughout the morning and early evening for the public and passers-by.
A more detailed display of the range of services was available for professionals at the Post Graduate Centre between 11am and 3pm. Staff and volunteers were available to share information and answer questions.
Feedback from the day was extremely positive and, due to popular request, Willen Hospice plans to provide similar roadshow information sessions for the public. The first of these will take place at Newport Pagnell Shop on Wednesday March 30th. If you are in the area, do pop in for a chat and find out more about Willen Hospice.
The Hospice is very grateful to Napp pharmaceuticals who kindly provided luncheon for the event at the hospital and came along to offer their support.
