Mayor's charities benefit

Former Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr Debbie Brock recently presented a cheque for £10,600 to Willen Hospice.

Earlier last year, Willen Hospice was delighted to have been nominated as one of the then Mayor's charities to support for her year in office, alongside Bletchley Park. The year of office came to an end on 17th May, 2011.   The cheque for £10, 600 represents half of the £21,200 raised through events, donations and two raffles.

As well as receiving a fantastic amount of money, being the Mayor’s charity has given Willen Hospice additional profile within the local community.
