Supporting Families
Local charity, Bosom Pals, have recently donated books and other literature for the Family Support Service at Willen Hospice, specifically for the work that the service does with bereaved teenagers.
On the 3rd May 2011, members of the Family Support Team: Sue Oakey, Family Support Worker, Sue Whear, Social Care Manager and Family Support Volunteer, Mandy Elston, attended a special presentation.
Bosom Pals also donated a cheque for £500 to the hospice.
The Family Support Service is very grateful to Bosom Pals for their generosity in providing the books which will be of tremendous help in supporting some very vulnerable young people.
