Taking up the Challenge
It will soon be time for the ‘Willcycle’ team to take on this year’s Extra Mile Challenge (opens new window), a 500 mile sponsored cycle relay through rural France. The Haute Savoie Challenge will take place from 23rd to the 25th September 2011.
The full team, pictured below are: Paul Hinson, Chief Executive of Willen Hospice, Phil Wordley and Mike Wordley, husband and son of the Hospice In-patient Unit Manager and Rob Gilbert, Hospice supporter.
Paul Hinson said: “We are all really looking forward to taking on this challenge. We are funding the trip ourselves and hoping to raise £1,200 for the Hospice to go towards providing specialist care to patients and support for their families.”
