Important Correction

In our Spring/Summer 2011 newsletter we said that in 1999 technology had come to the Hospice. We apologise for this inaccuracy as this actually happened 11 years earlier in 1988. This was the year when Ann Sidgwick secured a donation of the first computer system to be installed in the Hospice. This was an IBM PC complete with software and a printer for our nurses and admin staff to use. Ann, through Ann Sidgwick & Associates, also provided the training and support for this new equipment and has, through her company, continued to provide this invaluable "gift in kind" support to the Hospice from then until the present day.
