The much anticipated extension to our Day Hospice has been completed and we have now moved back in to our lovely new building.

The appeal was extremely successful, and the £50,000 needed to complete the project was raised in an amazing six months – thank you to all of you who made a donation and made this possible. The total project cost was £170,000, with £100,000 being given to us by the Department of Health and an anonymous donation of £20,000 making up the balance.

The Day Hospice is an essential service for patients and their carers. The new building offers a much needed increase in space: a room to meet patients and carers in private; a complementary therapy room; a treatment room and also hairdressing facilities.
