"All book donations are very gratefully received. However, as with all donations, they are carefully sorted so that only good quality, saleable items are sold in our bookshop. Those that are not in saleable condition, e.g. pages torn/missing, broken or outdated, are sold on to a recycling company. This enables us to maximize income and generate approximately an additional £2,000 per year which can be put towards providing patient care."
