Legal Advice

Yes, you can help support our futureIf you are considering making or changing your existing Will please take legal advice.

A Residuary gift to Willen Hospice

- this is a gift of all or part of what is left of your estate after taxes and debts are paid and all other legacies have been distributed – known as the residue. It is very important that at least one person or charity receives the residue of your estate; otherwise the Government will distribute it according to current legislation – intestacy law.

A residue gift can be from 1%, a small fraction, to the whole of the residue of your estate.

A Pecuniary gift to Willen Hospice

- this is a gift of a specific sum of money. In many cases this may be stated to be index linked so that the value of the sum remains in line with inflation.

A Specific gift to Willen Hospice

-this is a physical item such as a piece of jewellery or an antique.
