Earlier this year, staff at Keens Shay Keens MK voted Willen Hospice as their charity partner for 2011. The decision was taken not only to honour the Hospice's 30th year but also to raise £3,000 - an amount which covers the cost for the entire in-patient nursing team to care for 20 patients for 24 hours.
The running experts from Up & Running have been racing to raise funds to support the work of the Hospice and recently handed over a cheque for £435 but their fundraising effort aren’t stopping there as they’ve much more planned.
