What's it like to jump from 10,000 feet?

Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 ft. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph! 80 year old Barbara Harris did just that and can tell you all about it!

Tom Hough, from Bradville, did a parachute jump in aid of Willen Hospice and raised an amazing £1,207.50. Tom did the jump at Hinton airfield on his 16th birthday – the youngest age you can jump. Tom has had family members and friends cared for by the Hospice and also benefited from the help of the Macmillan Family Support Worker.
