Willen Hospice

Local man, David Roberts has cycled from San Diego to New York, a mere 3,300 miles and raised money for two charities - Willen Hospice and Dallas Furniture Bank.
He said on his website before he set out:
"I intend to raise as much money as possible for two worthy causes. Times are hard for everyone but charities see their income disappear when a recession hits and that is when they need increased income the most. For myself, I will get to see 3300 miles of America."
David's epic journey began on May 7th. He has had to push himself to the limit, cycling between 80-100 miles per day across varying terrains and through all sorts of weather. He set himself a target of 40 days, hence the punishing daily schedule.
