The Willen Hospice Social Care Team offer support to patients, families and carers. This support may be regarding personal or family issues, practical or emotional problems, or discharge planning for patients in the Hospice.  The team rely on volunteers to help them with their work in the areas of Family Support, Carers Support and Bereavement Services and are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist them.

Introductory Information Sessions

Seventy people in total recently turned out to hear more about volunteering within Social Care Services at the Hospice.

Those recruited now go on to complete 8 weeks of training.
