Willen Hospice
The Hospice Harriers will shortly set out on this year's Extra Mile Challenge - a 517mile cycle relay in the Loire raising funds for charity.

The team consists of Phil Wordley, Alan Small, Steve Barnes and Graham Denham - all with close connections to the Hospice (Steve is our hospice chaplain).
The trip is entirely paid for, so that all monies raised goes directly to charity – 67% Willen Hospice and the remaining 33% shared between Milton Keynes SNAP (Special Needs Advancement Project), The Prostate Cancer Charity and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). Even the support vehicle is being provided – by Volkswagen MK.
Steve says:
"The training's going well - we got up Great Brickhill this week, which is just as well, because the first day looks as hilly as anything on the west coast of Scotland. We're pretty well matched as a team; I'm probably the most reckless down hill but get overtaken on the ups...!"
