Our Make a Will Month runs every May and October. Writing your Will is incredibly important, and during this month, participating solicitors will be waiving their fees for writing or updating a Will in lieu of a donation to the Hospice. It’s a great way to support your local hospice and also give yourself peace of mind for the future that you have plans in place.
Complete the enquiry form below or call our Legacy Officer, Fiz Johnson on 01908 303068 to make an appointment.
You can also email legacies@willen-hospice.org.uk

Make a list of everything you own, such as the value of your house, car, savings, jewellery, stocks and shares and what you owe. This includes the outstanding balance of your mortgage, overdrafts, bank loans and other debts. This is the time to appoint a trusted friend or family member to be your executor (someone who will make sure your wishes are carried out).
There are three kinds of gifts you should consider. Remember to list the full names and addresses of who you want to benefit.
1. Specific gifts or items.
2. A residuary gift. A gift that can be made once all debts have been paid and any fixed gifts given, often a portion of your estate, divided into percentages.
3. A pecuniary gift. This is a specific amount of money.
If you are considering leaving a Gift in your Will to Willen Hospice, we would love to send you our Gifts in Wills guide. Request one in the form below, or email legacies@willen-hospice.org.uk or call 01908 303068 (Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm).
