Assistant Accountant

28-35 hours per week, with flexibility to work school hours 
 
Salary £27,000 – £30,000 per annum pro rata, dependent on qualifications and experience 

We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, systems literate Assistant Accountant to join our small Finance Team.

You will provide accurate, high-quality day to day accounting support, including responsibility for transaction processing and production of monthly accounts; balance sheet reconciliations including inter company, accruals and prepayments; supporting the monthly payroll and managing all aspects of the Fixed Asset Register.

You will have significant practical knowledge of a broad range of accounting practices, holding an accountancy qualification or equivalent experience. Strong excel and financial reporting skills are essential. Previous payroll experience would be advantageous. Excellent time management skills are also essential for this role, in addition to the ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload
