30 hours per week – Monday to Friday


15 hours per week – Monday to Friday,
worked 11-2pm or 2-5pm

Salary £16,350 – £17,560 per annum pro rata

To support our expanding catering provision at Willen Hospice, we have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join the team!

You will assist in carrying out basic food preparation tasks as requested including high risk food production such as sandwiches and salads.

Duties will also include clearing and washing kitchen utensils, loading and unloading dishwasher as required, taking payment for food and ensuring kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained.

Experience of working in a catering/front of house environment and possession of a food hygiene level 2 certificate is essential.

The ideal applicant should possess good communication skills, demonstrate a ‘can do’ and flexible attitude, and be available to start quickly.
