Digital Marketing Executive

About the role

35 hours per week (occasional evenings/weekends)

£19,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join the thriving Marketing team at Willen Hospice in this newly created position.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate digital marketing executive with social media, website and copywriting experience to raise the profile of our charity.

You will be creative and forward-thinking and help us to engage with the people that matter most to us – our patients, their families, the community we serve and our fantastic supporters and volunteers.  You’ll be focussed primarily on the execution of our digital marketing strategy whilst supporting the wider team to deliver our income from Online Retail, Shops, Community Fundraising, Events, Corporates, and Lottery.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills and will be confident in building relationships, working with the marketing team as well as the wider organisation and external networks via social media. A marketing qualification is desirable and you must be confident in using social media accounts and be computer literate across Microsoft platforms. You will have a creative flair to act as an ambassador for our brand as you engage with our digital audiences. You will also need a full valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.

You will be supported in your professional development by an experienced team who are passionate about what they do.

In return for your skills, you can expect generous annual leave entitlement starting at 35 days pro rata (inclusive of statutory and bank holidays) and increases with length of service, pension scheme and enhanced maternity, adoption and sick pay provision.
