Warehouse Operative & Driver

Full time (35 hours per week)
£10.60 per hour
Milton Keynes

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work as part of the Retail and Distribution Team, responsible for the collection and delivery of furniture and sellable items to raise vital income for Willen Hospice and support the delivery of an efficient warehouse operation.

Polite and professional in your manner, you will always act as an Ambassador for the Hospice, working with a colleague following a pre-planned route and travelling to households of members of the public, as well as shops in our retail portfolio. You will hold a valid driving licence and have previous experience of driving a van. You will need to be physically fit, with the ability to safely move and handle furniture, some of which will be heavy, as you frequently load and unload the van. Previous manual handling experience is desirable.

In return for your skills, you can expect generous annual leave entitlement starting at 35 days pro rata (inclusive of statutory and bank holidays), free onsite parking, continued membership of the NHS pension scheme and enhanced maternity, adoption and sick pay provision.

Due to restrictions within our insurance policy we are only able to accept applications from applicants who are aged 25 years and over and have held a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years.

To apply please complete the application form below and email it to hradmin@willen-hospice.org.uk

Closing date: Positions open until filled. Please note that we will be running this as a rolling recruitment and selection process therefore please submit your application at your earliest opportunity.
