This is an exciting time for an Individual Giving Development Manager to join a well-recognised local charity. As a hospice with around 3,000 regular givers, our Individual Giving programme is of very high strategic importance. We are looking for a development manager who is looking to build on this success and grow our income across these areas with creative and thoughtful plans.
We encourage applications from a variety of candidates with experience in Individual Giving who would contribute their expertise and energy in developing new opportunities to grow our regular giving and appeals portfolio. You will promote in-memory giving and raise funds through targeted campaigns, as an important part of our Income Generation team.
Together with your fundraising experience & track record for developing an income stream, you will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working independently, as well as collaboratively with other teams. You will have an aptitude for information management, knowledge of emerging direct marketing trends and project management skills to manage campaigns from start to finish. Experience of dealing with suppliers on large contracts such as canvassers would be an advantage.
We can support both hybrid and flexible working options in this role.
