About the role

35.25 hours per week, worked over a 7 day rota

£17,500 – £19,771 pro rata per annum plus 10% shift allowance 

Willen Hospice is the leading provider of specialist palliative care within the area. In addition to our 15 bed In-Patient unit and Community Nursing provision, we have an expanding Therapeutic & Wellbeing service offering Psychological Wellbeing, Social Care, Physiotherapy, Complementary Therapy, Spiritual Care and a new Living Well Centre. Under the direction of the nurse in charge and as part of the multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of dietary requirements to patients.

Duties will also include assisting with patient menu choices, ordering and distributing of meals, feeding patients where necessary, maintaining patient laundry supplies and preparing patient rooms for admissions.
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.
