We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative professional (RN/AHP) to lead, manage and develop our Practice Development team in delivering excellence in all aspects of clinical care through education, service development and evidence based practice.
Set in the tranquil grounds of Willen Lake, Willen Hospice is the leading provider of specialist palliative care within the Milton Keynes area. We offer 24 hour / seven days a week palliative care to people who have advanced disease, caring for people in our Inpatient Unit which accommodates 15 patients and the local community. Our person centred care is delivered with compassion and respect for people’s wishes. We have an expanding Therapeutic & Wellbeing service offering Psychological Wellbeing, Social Care, Physiotherapy, Occupational and Complementary Therapy.
As a key member of the senior clinical team, you will work closely with colleagues to support and develop clinical excellence and service provision, which will include leading on clinical/mandatory education and contributing to the Hospice strategic plan.
This dynamic role is suited to a qualified RN or Allied Health Professional, holding a recognised teaching qualification with effective communication skills, who can positively influence teams with their breadth of knowledge in palliative care issues and be passionate about quality care, audit and evidenced based practice.
You will work closely with, and alongside all of our clinical teams, interacting with individuals from a wide variety of professional backgrounds to facilitate educational programmes for external stakeholders within the Integrated Care Board.
