£25,976 – £33,769 pro rata, per annum plus 27% shift allowance
A highly rewarding and exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our In-patient Unit Team at this exciting time as we develop and expand our Hospice site. Here at Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes we offer 24 hour / seven days a week palliative care to people who have advanced disease. You will be caring for people in our Inpatient Unit which accommodates 15 patients. Our person centred care is delivered with compassion and respect for people’s wishes.

It is desirable, but not essential for you to have any previous palliative or oncology care experience, as you will receive a full induction and ongoing support.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the assessment of patient needs, planning, delivering and evaluating patient care playing an active role within our team. It’s all about giving our patients the best possible quality of life, the support we offer is tailored to meet individuals’ medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs. With an attractive staff to patient ratio, this is an opportunity to make a real difference to individualised patient care.
To be successful you will need to be a Registered Nurse able to demonstrate the ability to work well within a team, use initiative and have excellent communication skills.
