Retail Team Leader – Online Shop

22.5 hours per week, including weekends & bank holidays

£11.25 per hour

About the role:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Shop Team Leader with a passion for customer service to join us at the start of our brand-new venture for our online retail teams.  You will support the Commercial Manager for Online Retail and a committed team of volunteers to run our groundbreaking new store, working face to face with the public, helping to raise vital income for the Hospice.

You will have excellent customer service skills and a minimum of 2 years’ retail experience, as well as IT skills to assist with our online retail platforms and contribute to the growth of Online Retail.  You will ideally have experience of online sales and/or online fundraising platforms but training can be given to the right candidate.

About the shop:

Our new shop will be based at The Point, Milton Keynes, and will be a shop where customers can collect items they have purchased from our online retail portfolio, as well being able to browse and purchase items within the shop and from our online stores.

About the Hospice:

Set in the tranquil grounds of Willen Lake, Willen Hospice is the leading provider of specialist palliative care within the Milton Keynes area. We offer 24 hour / seven days a week palliative care to people who have advanced disease, caring for people in our Inpatient Unit which accommodates 15 patients and the local community. Our person centred care is delivered with compassion and respect for people’s wishes. We have an expanding Therapeutic & Wellbeing service offering Psychological Wellbeing, Social Care, Physiotherapy, Occupational and Complementary Therapy.  Our dedicated Business Development teams and retail portfolio of shops raise vital funds to deliver this care.
