Shop Team Leader – City Centre Cluster

6 month contract

20 hours per week, including weekends

£11.25 per hour

We are looking for a highly motivated Team Leader to support and work in our shops in the Milton Keynes City Centre Cluster following our opening of our new shop at The Point, which carries a vast range of pre-loved clothes, accessories, luggage and furniture, and a café selling drinks, snacks and cakes.

Working closely with the Cluster Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the shop, leading and working closely with our committed team and providing high quality customer service as you raise income to support the Hospice to deliver care to our community.

The successful candidate will have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills as well as previous retail experience. The successful candidate will have an awareness of basic food safety and hygiene for the café at The Point however full training will be provided.

Set in the tranquil grounds of Willen Lake, Willen Hospice is the leading provider of specialist palliative care within the Milton Keynes area. We offer 24 hour / seven days a week palliative care to people who have advanced disease, caring for people in our Inpatient Unit which accommodates 15 patients and the local community. Our person centred care is delivered with compassion and respect for people’s wishes. We have an expanding Therapeutic & Wellbeing service offering Psychological Wellbeing, Social Care, Physiotherapy, Occupational and Complementary Therapy.  Our dedicated Business Development teams and retail portfolio of shops raise vital funds to deliver this care.
