Bank Contract

1 day per week (11.75 hours in total), normally worked on a Wednesday; working shorter shifts will be considered with occasional annual leave cover available.

£10.64 per hour (inclusive of annual leave entitlement)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Host/Hostess to join our IPU Team on an ad-hoc basis

Under the direction of the nurse in charge and as part of the multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of dietary requirements to patients.

Duties will also include assisting with patient menu choices, ordering and distributing of meals, feeding patients where necessary, maintaining patient laundry supplies and preparing patient rooms for admissions.

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude and enjoy working as part of a team.

Willen Hospice is the leading provider of specialist palliative care within the Milton Keynes area. In addition to our 15 bed In-Patient unit and Community Nursing provision, we have an expanding Therapeutic & Wellbeing service offering Psychological Wellbeing, Social Care, Physiotherapy, Complementary Therapy, Spiritual Care and a new Living Well Centre.
