Experiencing the death of a loved one can be different for everyone. The feelings can rip through them like a tsunami or stay with them for years, in deep, gentle waves. We asked our counsellors for some advice on supporting a friend or relative who is facing the grief of bereavement.

We’re encouraging local people to support us on #GivingTuesdayNow, which takes place today (5 May). We’re one of thousands of charities taking part in the initiative, which has been set up by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
Local man completes two marathons in wheelchair for Willen Hospice
The lockdown has inspired people from around the globe to take on a challenge to raise money for charities, which have been hit hard by the current coronavirus pandemic. One of those inspirational people is Grant Miller, from Bradwell Village, Milton Keynes, who has decided to take advantage of the once-a-day exercise to do complete Incremental Marathons, in his wheelchair to raise money for Willen Hospice.

Willen Hospice is inviting local people to support them by staying home and staying fit, with their virtual 48 Hour Relay Run, powered by energie Fitness Milton Keynes. The brand new event will raise essential funds for the charity.
